Welcome to the website of the Staten Island Democratic Association. We are proud of being Staten Island’s premier progressive political club. Having been a fixture in the Staten Island political scene since 1961, our club has a strong tradition of activism within the Staten Island community and the Democratic Party. We believe that this website was the first one established by a political club in New York’s five boroughs. It was started in the pre-modern days of what was then called the World Wide Web in 1995. Enjoy searching our archives to see our history. More importantly, if you feel you want to make a difference in what is happening on Staten Island, or if you never felt that you can have an influence on what is going on, join us at our next meeting to see what we are about.
